Work From Home Moms Suggestions - Business

It is possible that I'm I am guilty of some outdated thought process however it occurs to me that at least one parent should be home with the kids at all times, especially when they are babies. I am not saying a "woman's place is in the home" or anything like that, but really, Mommie is physically better equiped to care for baby, this cannot be argued. Our society is in a situation where in almost all cases both parents must work to make ends meet and it's the little ones who feel the negative effects. Not to mention those of you who are single parents who have no choice but to leave your little ones in a day-care with semi-strangers all day. After my angel was born the thought of just leaving her at the local day-care facility was a lot like the thought of having my thumbs cut off. The thought of leaving the sweetest, most important little being that I had ever known and just give her over to some strangers to watch over her all day was just complete insanity to me.And it wasn't easy but her mother and I were able to make a situation where our angel has not had to be raised by non-family members and this is good. After meeting many other parents that the more traditional concept of Mother at home and dad off to work has really become a thing of the past for most families. I'm not super-happy about this. Especially if you aren't exactly stoked about the idea of the government raising your kids. It could be that if most of the small children were being raised by Mommy and Daddy we wouldn't have so many social problems. Perhaps ADD and ADHD is simply a protest against the fact that the kid only sees Mom and Dad a couple hours each day. Some of you don't have any other options though right? I don't envy anyone who has to be a single mom these days, especially with the prices for everything going up like a rocket. It is no easy task. I mean, Hell, day-care can cost as much as you bring home. In some situations it's pointless to even work, unless yo u want to spend it all on child-care and work for nothing. But, you and your child have to eat somehow, and it's not just all about you.Regretfully, when it comes to finding some sort of work from home for moms-type work you will do much of searching without finding too much in the way of employment. The few opportunities that are real employment positions out there that allow you to work from home are few.A few problems here. One, the competition for these positions is intensely fierce, and secondly, they usually don't pay well.Just after we brought our new daughter home from the hospital we spent a ton of time seeking for work from home moms-type work for "Mommy". The hours just ticked off, searching, searching, searching. Several months go by while you are doing this and any ad you find which seems decent gets filled the moment it is published. After a while you have to realize that you are simply wasting time searching, and even if you do find a position you have already invested multiple hundreds hours searching for no pay.One thing that many women who are searching for work at home moms-type work do not consider is just starting up their own small business. Undoubtedly there can be a lot of worry and uncertainty due to the non-guaranteed income as well as lack funds to get started. Certainly valid points but if you consider the time you are investing in searching for the work at home job that you are probably never going to find you may realize that you are already working and not getting paid for your time. And, there are more small business opportunites than ever out there right now. Many of them can be started for next to nothing. This may be a very viable direction to go for a lot of work from home moms, especially if an opportunity can be found which fits in with one's personality, and which one already has the skills for. Also, there are a lot of opportunities out there right now which will also provide training related to building th e business. There are high-cost start-ups and there are those which you can start for just few dollars, even some for free. The idea here is to work with whatever budget you have, and not to stretch yourself so thin that you are too stressed to function and get the job done after you start. For myself, though I'm a Dad, not a Mom, I was able to find a few things that were workable in the network marketing industry. There are so many different opportunites available in this arena, it's not like the old days, or even 10 years ago. Now the biggest problem is in doing the research to find a company that fits your personality and a sponsor that you can work with. I actually went through a couple opportunities before I found the right one, and the right sponsor who was helpful and who taught me a lot of the technical, computer and internet stuff I needed to know in order to be able to do it online. But this type of work is very social and obviously flexible time-wise, even if you ha ve a child in your lap. You could be surprised at how many others you will talk to who are also sitting there with their children in their lap! Should you be able to find the right sponsor, someone who can really teach you some solid internet marketing skills you will have a path to follow so that you can develop your own skills and cause increasing amounts of growth in your business as time goes on. Another thing to consider about starting such a business is that the majority of the work will be in the very beginning, in the learning curve, in the establishment of your marketing strategies, account creation, etc. Someone who really knows what they are doing can save time in the beginning by directing you so you are not just meandering all over the universe trying to figure out what to do. So you may have to search around for a bit to find someone who can sponsor you and who is wiling to help you, who has also been around in the industry for some time. This can really make i t way easier for you, which is why I point this out as an option for you. Network marketing is one of the few areas where people are not only glad to welcome you into their business, but they are more than willing to teach you, without charging you.All else is just doing the work. It's not magic. It is a business, and it may be a lot of work. But I found that with network marketing, most of the work is in the beginning. Once it's up and running it doesn't take much to keep it moving along. But, maybe that is true of all businesses.
