So many network marketers joined their company with money on the brain. They saw dollars sign, and why not network marketing is all about having as much of an opportunity to anyone else has to make a lot of money. It is that kind of an industry, where you can start with a couple of dollars and make a fortune if you put your mind to it.

Unfortunately, few new network marketers put their minds to it and just dream about everything that will just come to them like magic. Actually, the money will come as a bonus if the network marketer can find the rewards of helping other network marketers realize their dreams. By helping others, you help yourself. This is the way the real world spins.

If you were to ever take a good look at the company's newsletters, you would see that the network marketers that are really on top of the game are those that the others talk about being so helpful and supportive.

There is a false illusion about network marketers that many have. Many of those assumption are that they are all natural born salespeople or that they are all about hype and scams. This is so far removed from reality. Most network marketers come from every walk of life you could imagine. Most of these network marketers are real people trying to help others to achieve their goals.

Network marketing has everything to do with change. Prospecting is really nothing more than finding people that are interested in your business and talking to them about it. You are not trying to scam anyone with anything.

If your company is in the business of distributing pencils, but someone you are talking to is only interested in pens, then they are not a prospect for your network business. You could try to convince them that pencils and pens do almost the same thing, but if that person does not care about pencils, you can't force the issue, nor should you try to.

Good prospecting is open communication with others that are interested in what your business is about and the product. It is letting them know they can have the life they always wanted and dreamed of having. It is allowing them to believe that, as a network marketer, they will always have the support of their company, network and sponsor.

A expert network marketer will always know the product line, the compensation plans and their downlines, intimately. The marketer will also be the authoritative expert to his or her downline. That person that can be counted on to train effectively without hesitation. The expert will develop the ability to connect with people on a real level of trust.Becoming an expert network marketer means belonging to a good network marketing company that has a respected presence, on the web and off of it. The company is professional and not just financially solvent, but is supportive of everyone that is a part of their community. The best sign is a company that feels like family.
